 Join the 2008 Great American Cleanup
 

Keep Ohio Beautiful affiliates are gearing up for the 2008 Great American Cleanup (GAC). The GAC is the nation's largest community improvement program and is coordinated by Keep America Beautiful. Cleanup and green up activities take place in all 50 states between March 1st and May 31st.

Ohio affiliates will be coordinating litter cleanups on our state roadways, rivers, lakes, and in our parks and wildlife areas. Affiliates will also be spearheading beautification and recycling projects in local communities. Volunteers of all ages are welcome! To get involved, please contact your local affiliate or KOB. Affiliate information can be found online at www.keepohio beautiful.us. Activities will also be added to the KOB website in the coming months. We can all do our part to keep Ohio beautiful!

 2008 State Roadway Cleanup Plans Are Underway
 

The Ohio Department of Transportation and Keep Ohio Beautiful invite you to participate in the second annual State Roadway Cleanup. This initiative is part of the Great American Cleanup of Ohio.

KOB affiliates and ODOT will be coordinating cleanup events around the state on Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th. For more information on how to get involved, contact your local KOB affiliate or ODOT office. Events will be posted on the KOB website early next year.
