Program Information

Keep Ohio Beautiful supports and promotes all Keep America Beautiful litter prevention, community improvement education programs, and awareness events and campaigns through Ohio KAB Affiliates.  According to KAB research, cleaner, more livable communities are the result of statewide efforts like these.

Keep Ohio Beautiful provides annual training to Ohio local affiliates.

It is KOB's goal to provide one state wide training event that focuses on Keep America Beautiful, (KAB) programs including (Litter index, Great American Cleanup, Cost Benefit Analysis, etc), partnering with business/civic organizations, fundraising and to provide networking and program sharing opportunities.  KOB has partnered with the 2007 Ohio Partners for Sustainable Development Conference, scheduled for October 2-4 in Huron, Ohio.  This will be a great opportunity for KOB affiliates to receive their required training hours from Keep America Beautiful.

Provide strong support and systems to KOB Affiliates

KOB will compile the Great American Cleanup results for the state and will also maintain program files for Ohio affiliates.  In addition to a local state-wide conference, KOB will also provide the means to share funding and program ideas through our website and e-newsletter, and will strive to provide networking opportunities.  KOB will also conduct on-site visits with all affiliates to learn about local programs.
